Wayne Wm. Cook

COOK – Wayne W., 64, South Fork, passed away February 1, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born August 20, 1961, in Johnstown.

Preceded in death by parents, Wayne C. and Edna Mae (Adamsik) Cook; and brother, John Cook.

Survived by loving wife, Tonya (Blair) Cook; twin daughters, 1st Lt. Ashley Cook and 1st Lt. Haley Cook, both of the US Army Reserve; sisters, Joyce Pancottine (Dwight) and Joannie Nedwreski (Daniel); and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a 1979 graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Orchard Lake, Michigan. He dedicated 31 years of service to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He loved the open road and the freedom of riding his motorcycle, the peace found in camping, and the joy of making music with his guitars and blues harmonica. Above all, Wayne cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation and Funeral Mass honoring both Wayne and his beloved mother, Edna Mae, from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Father Jerzy Auguscik, OFM Conv., celebrant.
