Thomas C. "Butch" Gregovich

GREGOVICH – Thomas C. “Butch”, 84, South Fork, died July 16, 2023.
Born September 1, 1938, in South Fork, son of Thomas and Grace (Reighard) Gregovich.
Preceded in death by parents, son, Thomas C. “Buddy” Gregovich, Jr., and sister, Joyce Amigh.
Survived by loving wife of 58 years, LaVerne (Rohner) Gregovich, whom he married March 10, 1965; daughter, Sandy (David) Makins; grandchildren, Joshua, (Becky) Gregovich and Jessica (Matt Strayer) Makins; great grandchildren, Kayle, Jesslynn, Brandon, Logan, Dylan, and Savannah; and sister, Judy (Dan) McCreary.
“Butch” was a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School Class of 1957. After high school, he served his country in the US Navy completing three tours in Vietnam eventually retiring after 20 years of service. For the next 41 years he worked as a security officer at Windber Hospital.
He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Reverend Randy Landman presiding.
Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
