Theresa L. "Terry" Kirchner

KIRCHNER – Theresa L. “Terry,” 71, New Germany, passed away November 29, 2025. Born March 29, 1954, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Francis B. and Marian T. (Shrift) Madison; infant brother, Joseph Madison; and sister-in-law, Melodi Lyn (Giles) Madison.

Survived by husband of 51 years, Michael Kirchner, whom she married August 17, 1974; sons, Sean M. and Jason A. (Elyse Pcola); grandchildren, Kaelin, Brennen, Lennon, Micah, and Iris; and siblings, Ronald, Mary Ann Adams, Tom (Deborah Seese), Gary (Tina Coudriet), Jeff (Cathy Bertolino), Brian “Rockey” (Christine Blaisdell), and Greg (Laurie Wess).

Member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Terry adored her grandchildren. Shopping for presents for them was one of her greatest joys, each gift chosen with the hope of bringing a smile to their faces. She tended her flowers, her garden, and her home with pride. She was the heart of our family; supportive and endlessly generous. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and understanding. She listened deeply and loved unconditionally. Her spirit will live on in the memories we cherish.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no public services.
