Sherry J. Vitale

VITALE – Sherry J., 74, Sidman, passed away December 14, 2025. Born February 24, 1951, in Monessen, Pennsylvania; daughter of Helen M. (Clark) Nagy-Harrison. Preceded in death by mother; son, Thomas Farquhar; grandson, Thomas Farquhar Jr.; sisters, Diane "Dana" (Nagy) Kelly; and Carole (Nagy) O’Brien.

Survived by husband, Fred Vitale; sons, Jesse “JJ” Farquhar (Marlene) and Jason Farquhar (Danielle); and numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sherry loved gardening and canning and owned her own seamstress shop. Whether it was a dress for a special occasion or a costume for a child’s dance recital, she had a gift for bringing beauty and magic into the world through her sewing. She touched our hearts with her talents, her kindness, and her love.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; the Reverend Randy Landman presiding.
