FLYNN – Shawn, 49, New Germany, died December 14, 2023, at home, surrounded by family and friends. Born March 3, 1974, in Johnstown, son of Paul Jr. and Twila (Motchenbaugh) Flynn.
Preceded in death by sister, Stephanie Flynn; grandparents, Hilary and Anna Jean (Bimle) Motchenbaugh and Paul Sr. and Anna Jane (Bever) Flynn; and uncles, Wayne, Tom, and Barry Motchenbaugh.
Survived by parents; sons, Shawn Flynn; and Kyle Flynn (Jade Regan); grandson, Beau; sister, Melissa (Allan Long); and brother, Michael (Sharon Caldon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. Shawn was a former member of Sons of the American Legion, Cambria Houndsmen Coon Hunters Association, and was a longtime pest control technician with Ehrlich. He cherished time with family, enjoyed fishing, and loved nothing more than the howl of his hounds on the hunt.
Honoring his wishes, services will be private. Committal, St. Marys Cemetery. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
