GEORG - Sandra “Sandy,” 66, of Summerhill, PA passed into the loving arms of Jesus, her Savior on Sunday, May 17, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply; her devoted husband, Lee, her five cherished children, daughters-in-laws and two sisters.
Born to Elio and Beatrice (Vettori) Lucci on October 29, 1959. Sandy lived a life defined by two unwavering constants, her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ and her boundless love for her family. Those who knew her for a lifetime or for a fleeting moment walked away knowing exactly where her heart resided.
Family was Sandy’s greatest calling and her deepest joy. She poured herself into her husband, her children, and her fourteen grandchildren with a devotion that was rare and remarkable. Her Italian heritage was another expression of that love. The kitchen was her sanctuary and feeding people was her love language. She baked every birthday cake, every wedding cake, and every celebration cake for every child and grandchild, by hand and with perfection. To receive one of Sandy’s sweets was to know, without question, that you were deeply loved.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and her dear sister, Toni Papcunik. She is survived by her loving and selfless husband Lee; children, Matthew Sinosky (Lindsey); Kristin Long (Casey); Maria Kovach (Ryan); Michael Sinosky (Carissa); and Seth Georg; beautiful grandchildren; and sisters, Deborah Scarton and Jackie Butterworth. Sandy left this world fulfilled having given everything she had to the people and the God she loved. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
