KELLER – Ruth Jane, 84, South Fork, died July 10, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Born March 16, 1939, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Gerald and Ruby Kehn.
Survived by loving husband, William E. Keller, Sr. Bill and Ruth were high school sweethearts who wed on June 11, 1957. They spent 66 years together living in the Lamb’s Bridge (PFC Donald E Hunter USMC Memorial Bridge) area of South Fork. In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her children, William E. Keller, Jr. (Jannia); Richard L. Keller, Sr. (Donna); Kathy Ann Keller; Kevin Keller; and Larry Keller (Amy); grandchildren, Christan Keller, Richard L. Keller, Jr., Ashley Christ, Joshua Keller, Jason Keller and Bradley Keller; great grandchildren, David and Denzel Smith, Colton Keller, Mykenzie, Eli and Karson Christ, Haddie Keller, and Westin and Wade Keller.
Ruth worked for many years at Stineman Ribbon and Trophy. She loved spending time with family at their cottage at Raystown Lake. She enjoyed just sitting on the porch or boating on the beautiful lake. Ruth also enjoyed being Bill’s passenger on the back of his Harleys. Seeing most of the country on memorable trips. They were long time members of the Johnstown Harley Owners Group in addition to the Blue Knights.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; the Reverend Randy Landman presiding.
Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Asera Care and granddaughter Christan Keller for the excellent care given to Ruth.
