Ronald Wayne Berkheimer

BERKHEIMER – Ronald Wayne, 69, Alexandria, died October 7, 2024 at VA Pittsburgh Health System. Born June 12, 1955. Preceded in death by parents, Ronald T. “Joe” and Lois M. (Miller) Berkheimer; brother, Dennis; and sisters, Karen Stewart and Phyllis Stewart.

Survived by son, Jeffrey Weaver; grandchildren, Marcus, Mason, and Morrigan Weaver; sister, Sherry, wife of Tom Yewcic; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Ron served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Penn State and took pride in his profession, dedicating many years to PennDOT. He cherished the outdoors; especially the times he shared with family and friends, fishing and hunting.

A private graveside service with full military honors will be held at a later date at, Dunmyer Cemetery.
