Bob was a machinist for many years and retired from management at Stineman Ribbon & Trophy Company. Bob was a United States Navy veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War Era aboard the USS Steinaker, a Gearing-class destroyer. Faith was at the heart of everything he did. A lifetime member of the South Fork First Evangelical Church, where he sang with the men’s choir and enjoyed fellowship with friends in the men’s Bible class. His dedication to service began early, with his involvement in The Order of DeMolay, a Masonic youth organization. That commitment to helping others grew into a lifetime of civic engagement. As a loyal member of the South Fork Lions Club for more than 50 years, he exemplified the spirit of generosity and leadership, earning the Pennsylvania Fellow and the Melvin Jones Fellowship, the highest honor of the Lions Clubs International Foundation. He faithfully held many offices at both the local and district levels, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others. Beyond the Lions, Bob was a member of the St. Michael American Legion, played trumpet with the Forest Hills Community Band, and belonged to the National Association of Destroyer Veterans. Bob lived a life rich with purpose, faith, music, fellowship, and service. He leaves behind a legacy that inspires us to live with courage, give freely of our time and talents, and cherish the bonds of family, friends, and community.
