Richard Holdsworth

HOLDSWORTH – Richard Jr., 86, Sidman, died Nov. 17, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 11, 1929, in Gallitzin, son of Richard Sr. and Margaret (Smith) Holdsworth. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary Elizabeth (Lermineau) Holdsworth, who died April 15, 2010; son, Richard III; daughter, Cathy Crum; granddaughter, Mary Jo Boyle; brothers, Archie and John; and sisters, Margaret Bopp, Catherine Reeves, Mary Ellen Holdsworth and Hanna Hershberger. Survived by children, Mary, wife of Terry Lantz, Titusville; Robert, married to Vicki Reighard, Sidman; and Maggie Fabo, engaged to George Kosaber, Sidman; son-in-law, Roger Crum, Portage; daughter-in-law, Carol (Reighard) Holdsworth, Sidman; twin brother, Robert (Louise), Salix; sister, Janet, “Cookie,” wife of Zane Hutzell, South Fork; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren with a forth on the way; special niece, Roberta Allendorfer; and numerous other beloved family and friends. Richard retired from the car shop at Bethlehem Steel after 30 years of service and was proud of being the oldest resident of Ruthford. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon Saturday, the Rev.
