Raymond L. Myers

MYERS – Raymond L., 81, Johnstown, formerly of St. Michael; died January 8, 2026. Born September 30, 1944, in Trenton, New Jersey; son of Florence Myers.

Preceded in death by mother; grandparents who helped raise him, Robert and Elizabeth (Costlow) Myers; and special cousin, Ed Myers.

Survived by loving wife, Nancy (Moore) Myers; children, Debbie Remsberg, Mary Elizabeth McElhinney (Patrick); and Susan Sweeney (Robert); grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Mark and Ryan; great grandchildren, Skylar, Dakota, and Oakley; stepchildren, Louis Middleton III, Mark Middleton (Teresa), and Michael Middleton (Amy); and numerous other beloved family and friends.

Ray was a graduate of Adams – Summerhill High School, class of 1962 and worked for many years in the bookbinding industry. He had a deep connection to nature and a quiet dedication to conservation. A member of St. Michael Sportsman Club and the Audubon Society. He was an avid golfer, ham radio enthusiast, enjoyed target shooting, and volunteered for the annual “Hawk Watch” migration event.

We are forever grateful for his friendship, wisdom, and love. Honoring his wishes there will be no visitations.
