LONG – Phyllis J., 98, Summerhill, died September 26, 2023, at Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home. Born October 10, 1924, in Gallitzin, the last surviving child of Thomas and Anna Bertha (Cox) Bolan.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, John Lawrence Long who died April 29, 2000; sisters, Irene Callahan, Margaret Ferramini, Edna Wright, 5-year-old sisters, Mary and Anastasia Bolan; and brothers, Philip, Joseph, Eugene, and John.

Survived by nieces, Joann Vavrick, Mary Edna Hopf, Mary Ellen Halasz, Patricia Purcell, and Sandra Cicora; 11 Godchildren; and numerous other beloved nieces and nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Phyllis was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Wilmore; St. Anne’s Guild, and Friends of 1889 Flood Memorial.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Fr. Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.

Committal, St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore.
