Peter E. Malzi

MALZI - Peter E., 89, Dunlo, died October 2, 2021. Born January 24, 1932, in Dunlo. Preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Helena (Miller) Malzi; and sister Nancy (Charles) Hart.

Survived by wife of 65 years, Mary Catherine (Hart); brother, Kenneth Malzi; and sister, Lori (Timothy) Smith; daughters, Cindy (Denny) Nagy; Diane (Timothy) Weaver; and Kimberly (Robert) Fisher; grandchildren, Nicole Nagy; Sarah (Dan) Senft; Peter (Lisa) Urbassik; Joshua Weaver; Nathan (Chelsea) Weaver; and Amber (Brandon) Tressler, and great-grandchildren, Jackson Senft, Natalie Senft, and Liam Tressler.

Pete enjoyed being outdoors, horses, fishing, and hunting. He worked for UPS for 25 years and was a retired officer for the Adams Township Police Department. Pete was a member of Salix Bethel United Methodist Church, Beaverdale Lions Club, Masons, Dunlo Rod & Gun Club, Jaffa Shrine, and Johnstown Saddle Club.

Visitation at the church from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Salix Bethel United Methodist Church, the Reverend Don Poole presiding.

Interment, Dunlo United Methodist Cemetery.
