Patrick J. Krestar Sr.

KRESTAR – Patrick J. Sr., 73, South Fork, died July 22, 2023. Born February 8, 1950, in South Fork, son of Michael M. Jr. and Margaret A. (Diamond) Krestar. Preceded in death by parents; son, Timothy S.; brother, Larry; and sister-in-law, Donna Krestar.

Survived by wife of 53 years, Angela A. (Kozich), whom he married October 11, 1969; sons, Patrick Jr. and Daniel Sr. (Danielle); daughters, Sharon Goughnour (Bill) and Nicole Stewart (Fred Folta); grandchildren, Daniel Jr. (Antonia), Scott, Stephanie, Autumn, Jerome, Joseph Jr., Mason, Tommy, Samantha, and Donella; eight great grandchildren, siblings, Michael, Linda Shaw (Robert), Barbara DuMond, and Steven (Tammy); sister-in-law, Susan Krestar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1969. Pat was a retired welder from Cooney Brothers Coal Co. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork. He loved trout fishing and hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, Celebrant.

Committal, St. James Cemetery.
