Nathaniel Eric Harris

May 9, 2002 — July 3, 2021

HARRIS – Nathaniel Eric “Nate,” 19, Meadville; died July 3, 2021, at home. Born May 9, 2002, in Tacoma Park, Maryland, son of Erica Holdsworth, with whom he lived.

He was employed by Walmart, Inc. in Meadville. Nate was formerly of Summerhill where he was a member of the Summerhill Volunteer Fire Company. He was a 2020 graduate of Forest Hills High School, where he played football.

Survived by loving mother, Erica Holdsworth, Meadville; brothers, Lawrence, Williamsport; Isaiah and Markeise, both at home; sister, Jasmine, at home; maternal grandmother, Catherine (Myers) Holdsworth, Summerhill; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nate was preceded in death by his aunt, Marlena Holdsworth.

Nate was an unreserved, warmhearted young man, known for his ready smile and friendly banter. He will be lovingly remembered for his easygoing nature and his commitment to family and friends. Blessed with a large family, Nate could always be counted on by his siblings and many cousins to be present, engaged, and ready to provide a little mischief (when necessary). We will sorely miss his playful demeanor and generous heart.

Friends will be received Thursday, July 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple St., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, by the Rev. Msgr. David A. Lockard.

Committal, St. Michael Cemetery.
