Michael Timothy Tully

TULLY – Michael Timothy “Tim,” 81, Summerhill, died January 31, 2026 at James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona. Born January 24, 1945, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas A. and Anna M. (Siverinac) Tully; sisters, Audrey Peretin, Judy Wess, and Tina Tully; brothers, Joseph and Thomas; and in-laws, Frank Peretin, Dean Wess, Joseph Frank, Jim Ehrhart, and Jack Krug.

Survived by life companion, Lil Crusco and her family; sisters, Marian Frank-Ehrhart and Mary Joyce Krug; brothers, Bill and Randy; in-laws, Tina (Vettori) Tully, Bonnie (Mase) Tully; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graduate of Adams Township class of 1962. Tim was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne during Vietnam having been awarded the Purple Heart and several other medals and commendations. After returning from combat, he did hands-on work that suited him in the moment. Though he often sought solace in ways that weren’t always easy to understand, he lived life fully, on his own terms. Whether it was riding his motorcycle on the open road, having one too many at the club with friends, or simply enjoying nature from his patio, he embraced life with passion.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; with military honors by St. Michael American Legion Post 551, immediately following the service.
