Michael D. Pinkas

PINKAS – Michael D. 66, Elton; died March 6, 2026, at home. Born July 24, 1959, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Stanley J. and Stella A. (Selencavage) Pinkas, mother-in-law, Mary Ann Daniels and sister-in-law, Karen (Schrum) Pinkas.

Survived by loving wife of 34 years, Debbie (Daniels) Pinkas, whom he married April 20, 1991; sons, Zack and Andy; brothers, Samuel, married to Barbara (Shank); Anthony; and Stanley; sisters, Paula, wife of Lee Norton; and Helen Pinkas; father-in-law, Joseph “J.D.” Daniels; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Daniels), married to Joseph Quealy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was a 1977 graduate of Forest Hills High School. He learned carpentry working alongside his dad, mastering the trade and the value of hard work. Most recently he worked for R.C. Frazer Construction, continuing to do what he had always done best: honest, skilled work. Mike was the kind of man who was always active, always moving, never idle. He loved animals, and long walks with his dog were a regular part of his day. An avid Steelers and Penguins fan. Some of his proudest moments came from watching his sons play football. Being there for those games meant the world to him. Mike lived a life built on hard work, loyalty, and love for his family. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Father Jerzy Auguscik, OFM Conf., celebrant.
