Mary Jane Sklodowski

SKLODOWSKI – Mary Jane, 83, St. Michael, died October 16, 2026. Born June 27, 1943, in Dunlo. Preceded in death by parents, Mike and Mary (Novosel) Swelfer; husband, Stanley W. Sklodowski, who died October 4, 2023; sister, Elizabeth Morris; and brother, Richard Swelfer.

Survived by son, William M., married to Debbie (Kolb); grandson, Justin, married to Shyanne (Riley); great-grandchildren, Emberly, Atticus, and Asher; brothers, Louis Swelfer, Michael Swelfer, and John Swelfer and his significant other, Nancy (Gdula) Kenda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Croatian Fraternal Union of America, St. Rochus Lodge #5. She was a talented seamstress having worked at Empire Foundations. She treasured time she spent with family but looked forward to the day she could take Stanley’s hand and polka dance once again. Počivala u miru Božjem “May she rest in the peace of God.”
