PRINCE – Mary, 86, South Fork, died June 28, 2025. Born September 8, 1938, in South Fork, last surviving child of John and Margaret (Gregorich) Prince. Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Helen; sisters, Margaret Chundzinski, Dorothy Elliott, Catherine Hudson, and Genevieve Slanoc; and brothers, John, George, and Frank.
Survived by brother-in-law, John Slanoc; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Mary, a 1956 graduate of South Fork–Croyle High School, was a devoted member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she cherished fellowship with friends. She shared a special bond with her beloved "fur companion," Hunter. As a passionate sports enthusiast, Mary cheered for the Pittsburgh Steelers, celebrated every Notre Dame football victory, and followed college softball and basketball. But was truly happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday July 7, 2025, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday July 7, at Most Holy Trinty Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.
Committal, St. James Cemetery. Special thanks to caregivers Sue and Katie and the staff of Windber Hospice for their kindness and support.
