Mary Ann Murin

MURIN – Mary Ann, 88, South Fork, died December 8, 2023, surrounded by family. Born August 29, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph V. and Anna S. (Blasic) Wilson. Preceded in death by parents; husband Thomas J. Murin, who died January 5, 2010; brothers, Robert and William; and special poodle, Holly.

Survived by sons, Thomas Jr.; and Stephen; daughter, Anna Custer; grandchildren, Stephanie Maticic, Robert Maticic III, John Custer, Jr., Emily Custer, and Marie Fay Custer; and shorkie, Buddy.

Mary Ann was a retired LPN from Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and was active with the Adams Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed calling bingo for the church and firehall for many years.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Father Jerzy Auguscik, OFM Conv., celebrant.
