Mary Grace Christina

CHRISTINA – Mary Grace, 91, New Germany, died October 14, 2025. Born May 13, 1934, in Ehrenfeld, the last surviving child of Augustine J. and Marion L. (Bowen) Schrift. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Robert J. Christina Sr., who died May 18, 2024; son, Robert J. Christina Jr.; sisters, Margaret Emigh, Louella Penrod, and Joan Salamon; and brothers, Stephen, Richard, and John.

Survived by children, Constance, wife of Duane Lamar; Gary “Ribs;” Kimberly Ann, wife of Tim Long; and Curtis, married to Sherry (Harlin); eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Mary Grace was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany; where she enjoyed fellowship with friends in the Altar and Rosary Society. Mom was truly happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends. The love she shared leaves a legacy of gratitude in the hearts of all who knew her.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 16 at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 17 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
