BRYDON – Kevin J., 62, South Fork, passed away July 21, 2025. Born January 21, 1963, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father, Richard J. Brydon and sister, Kimberly K. Stevanus.
Survived by mother, Sandra (Riblett) Brydon – Unger (Henry Unger); loving wife, Debra R. (Pauley) Brydon; sons, Richard “RJ” and Zachary (Teasha); beloved grandchildren, Peyton Moss and Bowen, Brooks, and Rynlee Brydon; brother, Douglas Brydon (Pamela); and his golden doodle, Louie.
Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Forest Hills High School. From there, he followed a path shaped by his love of animals, the land, and the outdoors. He earned an associate degree in Animal Science from West Virginia University, and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Penn State. As a farmer, Kevin understood the value of hard work, patience, and faith. He enjoyed hunting in the autumn woods, fishing quiet waters with his sons, and tending a garden that was always grown with love. Kevin cherished family vacations to Ocean City. He bled blue and white, fall Saturdays weren’t complete without a game on TV—or better yet, a trip to Happy Valley and Sundays were for the Steelers! We remember him as the kind of person who didn’t need to announce his values — he lived them, every day, through his honesty, his work ethic, and the way he treated others.
