PASTVA – Judith M., 65, South Fork, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born April 15, 1956, in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph R. Huber and Magdalene M. (Bodenschatz) Smith Huber Plummer.

Preceded in death by parents; stepfather, John T. “Tom” Plummer; mothers-in-law, Patricia Keselak and Helen Tomko; fathers-in-law, John Keselak and Frank Tomko; sister-in-law, Diane Criscuolo; brothers-in-law, Herbert Wirfel, Dave McMahon, and James Hammond; and nephew, Nicholas Wirfel.
Survived by husband of 43 years, Stephen J. Pastva, whom she married April 8, 1978; daughter, Marissa Pastva; and son, Ryan Pastva, married to Kristin (Beaver); beloved grandchildren, Kore and Ruby Pastva, who were her pride and joy; sisters, Betty (Smith) Wirfel McMahon; and Patty (Smith) Hammond; and brothers, Jack “Radar” Smith, married to Martha (Wirfel); and Joe Huber, married to Jan (Rocker); in-laws, John “Jay” Keselak; Susan (Steven) Kish, Carol Fabrizio, Nancy (Rodney) Hoffman, Lee Tomko, Lynn (Mark) Levy, and Chris (Jodie) Tomko; friends, Gail (Butch) Benyack and Judy Slifko; and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Judi was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, Class of 1974. After attending Conemaugh School of Nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked for Lee Hospital (now Conemaugh), Community Nursing, and Laurel View Village. Most recently, she enjoyed her work as a paraprofessional at the Forest Hills Elementary School. Judi attended services at Salix Bethel United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and cardplayer, could often be found on the back of a quad, and loved her dog, Sami. She was known for her dedication to family, her fun-loving and generous personality, and the warm compassion she shared with others.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 7, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. South Fork. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 8, at Salix Bethel United Methodist Church.

Interment, Pringle Hill Cemetery.
