BODENSCHATZ – JoAnn R., 79, Summerhill, died August 9, 2024. Born August 11, 1944, in Ebensburg. Preceded in death by parents, Leroy T. and Mildred A. (Johnson) Wiseman; husband, Carl F. Bodenschatz, who died February 20, 2017; brother, Thomas Wiseman; and sister, Shirley Plummer. 

Survived by son, Mark, married to Marietta (Chulick); and daughter, Cheryl, wife of Barry Leventry; grandchildren, Brandon (Becky), Carlie, Timothy, Stacy (Chris), Gary, Dustin (Kayla), Jennifer (Denny), Jamie (Mark), and Nicole (Davey); great grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Riley, Colton, Maddox, Austin, Avery, Everleigh, Lincoln, AnnaBeth, Weston, Easton, Aubrey, Kade, Nathaniel, and Liam; sisters, Yvonne, wife of John Hughes; and Jeannie, wife of James Hughes; and special nephew, Jim Hughes. 

Member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill. She had a gift for making everyone who walked through her door feel valued and special. Her store, JoAnn’s Jewelry Outlet, was a reflection of who she was—elegant, welcoming, and filled with love. 

Friends will be received from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John’s, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.
