NOON – James “Marvin,” 73, The Villages, Florida; died January 2, 2024. Born June 26, 1950, in South Fork, son of James M. and Sannie T. (Oswalt) Noon. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Thelma Robinson; and brother-in-law, James Martin.
Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Diana (Hoffman) Noon, whom he married April 18,1970; sons, Scott (Amy Verdi) and Brian (Sky Adams), grandchildren, Bodhi Noon and Grace Noon; sister, Jean Martin; brother-in-law, Paul Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marvin was a 1968 graduate of Forest Hills High School and the Electronics Institute in Pittsburgh. He worked at Philip Morris in Richmond, Virginia for 26 years as an electrician. The family takes comfort in knowing he’s at peace and reunited with those who have gone before him.
A graveside service will be held in the Spring at South Fork Cemetery.
