Jack W. Reese

REESE – Jack W., 81, Mount Hope, died August 20, 2025. Born September 7, 1943, in Johnstown, son of George and Fern A. (Reighard) Reese.

Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Lucy Fay (Penrod) Reese, who died October 24, 2023; and son, Eric W. Reese.

Survived by son Darrin; daughter, Tina (Charles) Teno; beloved grandchildren, Kendra Reese, Michael Teno (Gina Rhoads), and Natalya (Caleb) Starfeldt; brother, Robert Reese (Sharon Weaver); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was a member of Mount Hope Community Church. Together with his wife, he owned and operated Reese’s Exxon Mobile Gas Station in Mount Hope. He was a retired crane operator for Johnstown America Corporation and worked in the car shop for Bethlehem Steel.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Hope Community Church, Pastor Justin Rohrbaugh, presiding.

Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
