Irene Mabel Allison

ALLISON - Irene Mabel, 100, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; died June 13, 2021, at The Villa Personal Care. Born July 19, 1920, in Chase, Wisconsin; daughter of Ernest F. and Mabel F. (Aprille) Heinemann. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clifford J. Allison, who died March 24, 1992; and sisters, Lucille Kolakowski, Florence Sternberg, and Gladys Werner.

Survived by her companion and partner, Joe Crute, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; son, Michael S., married to Madelyn (Shapiro), Broomfield, Colorado; sisters, Mildred Gohr, Green Bay, Wisconsin; Arlene Elsea, Corry, Pennsylvania; and Janice Steffel, Oconto, Wisconsin.

Irene lived in Wisconsin until 1984 when she and Cliff moved to Florida.
She was an active member of Christ Memorial Lutheran in Wisconsin and
Bethany Lutheran in Florida. In Wisconsin and Florida, Irene could be
counted on to visit friends in need. Irene met Joe in Florida after her
husband Cliff's passing. Joe and Irene moved to Pennsylvania in 2016 to be near family. Soon after their move, Irene's Alzheimers diagnosis led to her move to The Villa Personal Care in Johnstown.

Inurnment, Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; in the Fall of 2021.
