Gerri E. Savering

SAVERING – Geraldine E. “Gerri,” 72, Richland, formerly of South Fork, and Inwood, West Virginia; died April 7, 2023. Born November 3, 1950, in Portage, daughter of John J. “Jack” and Josephine (Stanchek) Connelly. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Barry K. Savering, who died March 10, 2006; son, Barry C. Savering; brother, John T. “Shawn” Connelly Sr., and nephew, Jacob T. Connelly.

Survived by son, Eric W. Savering, Bunker Hill, West Virginia; granddaughter, Kayla Riley Savering, engaged to Hunter Donivan; grandson, Joseph Connelly Savering; great grandchildren, Remington Clair Donivan, Kingston Joseph Donivan, and Eric David Savering; sister, Connie, wife of Harry Noel, Nanty Glo; brother, Robert Connelly, Williamsport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gerri was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1969. She enjoyed crafting, caring for her beloved dogs; and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
