Genesis Grace Osman

OSMAN – Genesis Grace, 38, Salix, went into the rest of the Heavenly Father, September 24, 2026. Born July 25, 1988, in Windber, daughter of David and Andrea (Rusnak) Osman.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew “Sparks” Rusnak and Chester and Catherine “Babe” (Costlow) Osman.

Survived by life partner, Travis Eppley; son, Kai Lee Eppley; parents, David and Andrea (Rusnak) Osman; brother, Adam, married to Anita (Mangus) and their three children, Annabelle, Oliver, and Huxton; grandmother, Alice Maye Rusnak; aunts, Cathy, wife of Gerard Troilo; and Carol, wife of Michael Swinger; in-laws, Tracy Blough, Tanya Eppley and Shaunah Clinemyer; and numerous beloved cousins, family and friends.

Genesis was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, Class of 2006, worked for Amazon, and attended Portage Alliance Church. She loved how music could change a mood, bring back a memory, or say what words sometimes could not. She loved going to the beach, listening to the waves and feeling the sun. She loved journaling, putting her thoughts and feelings onto paper, leaving behind pieces of herself in words. And she loved crafting, creating things with her own hands. Most of all, she cherished the time she shared with her son, Kai, making memories together. “You shined so bright, it's insane. You put the sun to shame.” May your memory be eternal. May your light continue to shine through all of us who loved you.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; Pastors Matt Leverknight and Tim Dietrich presiding.
