GURCHIK – Gary Paul, 57, Altoona, died April 12, 2023. Born July 15, 1965, in Spangler, son of Paul “Don” and Rita (Kirkpatrick) Gurchik, Ebensburg.
Survived by parents; brother, Glenn, married to Sarah, Camp Hill; niece, Hanna; and nephew, Isaac. Gary graduated from Bishop Carroll High School, class of 1983. He owned and operated Smokestack Barbeque. He enjoyed motorcycle and autocross racing and was a former BMX State Champion. Gary will be remembered for always being willing to lend a helping hand.
Private family visitation and service. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Germany. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
