Flossie D. Sivec

SIVEC – Flossie D., 74, Salix, died September 5, 2023. Born November 25, 1948, in South Fork, daughter of Steve and Romona Yvonne “Bonnie” (Hutzell) Sikora. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Clara Sutt; and brothers, Russell and William “Joe” Hufford.

Survived by husband of 50 years, John Sivec Jr., whom she married May 19, 1973; sons, John Sivec III (Amy); and Mark Sivec; beloved granddaughters, Drew and Julia; and siblings, Carol Jean Tuthill; Elaine Jenkins (Tom); Denise Krehel (Michael); Stephanie Weakland (Paul); Susan Vivian; Stephen Sikora; and Shawn Sikora (Leigh).

Flossie was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Triangle Area High School, class of 1966 and a retired sales associate from Sears, with 26 years of service. She especially enjoyed bowling with her sisters and cherished time spent with family.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Father Stanley Holland, T.O.R., celebrant.
