Dorothy "Bunny" Shaffer

SHAFFER – Dorothy “Bunny,” 51, South Fork, formerly of Sidman; passed away September 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born March 25, 1972, in Johnstown; daughter of Glenn and Barbara (Ohler) Crum. Preceded in death by her father, whom she adored; and grandparents; Bud and Dorothy (Christner) Ohler.

Survived by mother; children, Harley Shaffer (Anna); Chelsey Shaffer (Robert), and Malea Shaffer (Vincent); beloved grandchildren, Zackery, Tomak, and Tava’esina Shaffer; Serenity Smith; and Luke, Isla, and Stella Belle Bopp; dear friends, Darlene Fyock and Juscinda Matlin; and pets Chip and Tango.

Bunny was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1990. She cherished spending time with family and friends, had a gentle and giving spirit, and loved unconditionally. She was a thoughtful gift giver and baked the most delicious gobs!

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork; by Father Brian Warchola.
