David J. Ream

REAM – David J., 62, Mahaffey, formerly of Salix, died July 9, 2026. Born December 30, 1963, in Johnstown; son of the late Ronald J. Ream and Sara “Sally” Lucille (Ellenberger) Ream-Boring.

Survived by loving wife, Julie (Andersen) Ream; children, Ashley Ream, Zak Ream (Rina), Nicholas Ream, Dillon Heming (McKenzee), and Zachary Heming (Cierra); grandchildren, Frankie and Cassian; sister, Cynthia Horrell (Steve); and nephew, Michael Horrell (Sarah) and their daughter, Josie.

For more than 35 years, David worked as a service technician for Pepsi. He loved taking cruise vacations, enjoying the chance to see new places and spend time with the people he loved. He also enjoyed steelhead fishing. And anyone who knew David also knew how much pride he took in maintaining his lawn. David leaves behind a legacy of dedication and quiet strength. We are better because he was part of our lives, and we will always remember him.
