HARTEIS – David C., 74, Richland, died January 17, 2017 at Windber Hospice. Born November 13, 1942 in Wilmore, son of the late Louis G. Jr. and Esther M. (Smay) Harteis.
Survived by wife, Kitty M. (Moore) Harteis; sons, James and special friend, Mary Jo Shrift; John; and Joseph, married to Sherry (Weaver); daughter, Janet, wife of John Haschak; grandchildren, Heather; Andrew and fiancée, Bry; David; Daniel; Ian; Kayley and Justine; great-grandchild, Aiden; brother, Charles, married to Karen (Velmar); and sister, Dolores Wilson.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public viewing or service. He will be forever remembered among family and friends. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
