Dale R. Wadsworth

WADSWORTH – Dale R., 75, St. Michael; died May 4, 2023, at home surrounded by her beloved family. Born November 7, 1947, in Johnstown; daughter of John J. and Anna (Murvine) Makins. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Theodore “Ted” Wadsworth, who died, November 29, 2002; infant son, Charles “Chucky” Bailey; sister, Beverly “Bev” Reighard; brothers, Christopher “Allen” and John “Jack” Makins; and son-in-law, Al Kemp.

Survived by fiancé of 20 years, Glenn Burns; daughters, Laura Kemp; Tonya Miller (Rusty); and Jessica Blough (Scott); grandchildren, Jeff, Eric, Cory, Autumn “Sis,” Debbie, and Skyler; great grandchildren, Toby, Alexis, Anna, Kaylee, and Pryceton; brother, James Schatz (Alice “Tootie”); sister-in-law, Kathy Makins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale was a graduate of Triangle Area High School, class of 1966. She was known for her beautiful crochet work, enjoyed passing time on her front porch, and cherished every moment spent with family and friends.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.

Interment, Dunlo United Methodist Cemetery.
