Colleen R. May

MAY – Colleen R. (Coughenour), 77, Johnstown, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Born September 23, 1948 in Somerset, PA, daughter of Melvin Ray and June Elizabeth (Peck) Coughenour. Preceded in death by parents; beloved husband, Ronald C., who passed away March 12, 2026, brother-in-law, Gary A. May; and sister-in-law, LaVonne L. Learn.

Survived by loving children, Tisha (Henry) Wright, Tacy (Dave) Wilson, and Clete (Elizabeth) Hoover; sister, Dru (Chris) Woy; stepchildren, Deborah (James), Ron Jr. (Edith), Gary (Jeannie), Tim (Kathy), Darlene (Jason); 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She will be missed by her cherished canine companions, Trixie and Curley; feline companion Ozzie; and her very special friend, KK. Colleen also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Coughenour side of her family.

Together with her late husband, Ron, Colleen owned and operated a successful painting and wallpaper business. She was a proud native of Berlin, PA and enjoyed camping at Friendship Village in Bedford, spending time putting together puzzles, and, most of all, being with her loved ones. Colleen was a devoted member of Tire Hill Covenant Brethren Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
