Cecil G. Bopp

BOPP- Cecil G., 88, Endeavor, formerly of Summerhill, died May 18, 2023. Born April 23, 1935, in Summerhill, son of Felix and Isabelle (Schrift) Bopp. Preceded in death by parents; and sisters, Phyllis Straple and Maxine Robinson-Hupp.

Survived by brother, Ronald Bopp (Jean); sisters, Annette Krise; and Diane Krempasky (William); numerous nieces and nephews; and adopted “mountain kids,” Curtis and Cynthia McAninch. Cecil retired from Peoples Natural Gas Company and was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wildlife photography, and woodworking; and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates Fan.

Honoring his request, there will be no visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
