LENSIE – Brenda Lee, 68, Sidman, died September 17, 2026. Born August 19, 1958, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Vermona (Litzinger) Dibble; infant sisters, Bonita Lynn and Debra Jean; mother-in-law, Leola Figard-Fitz; and brother-in-law, Bruce Schrader.
Survived by husband of 41 years, Timothy J. Lensie, whom she married October 20, 1984; daughters, Jessica, wife of Paul Vespoli; and Monica, wife of Corey Lucas; beloved grandchildren, Eliana, Adalee, Caleb, and Carter; siblings, Edward, married to Judy (Norris); Nancy Schrader; and Ronald; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families, all of whom she loved dearly.
Brenda was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Area Vocational-Technical School, Class of 1976. She went on to spend much of her life caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, serving at the Church of the Brethren, Laurel Crest, and through in-home care. She also served as President of the Forest Hills Band Boosters for 10 years, giving her time and energy to the band and its students. She especially enjoyed being there for her daughters, during their years in the band. Over the years, Brenda and her family opened their home to foreign exchange students, welcoming Birgitte Skarbo of Norway, Stefanie Schorrer and Dorothee Meyer of Germany, and Maarit Keitanen of Finland into their family. She cherished time with those she loved, and when her grandchildren came along, her joy only grew. Whether caring for a patient, serving her community, welcoming someone into her home, or simply being there for her family, Brenda gave with her whole heart.
