Brandyn Anthony Truscott

February 6, 2007 — March 11, 2024

TRUSCOTT – Brandyn Anthony, 17, South Fork, a vibrant and promising young man, full of dreams and aspirations was received by his Lord on March 11, 2024. Born February 6, 2007, in Johnstown.

Preceded in death by great grandparents, Kenneth Lee Blough, David Duncan Truscott, Nancy L. Truscott, and William and Betty Moffat; grandfather, Fred Eppley; and special great-great aunt, Patsy Jane Young.

Survived by mother, Tanya Eppley-Lunetto; father, David W. Truscott and stepmother, Karen Douglas; stepfather, Leonardo “Leo” Lunetto; grandparents, Alma Eppley, Sonia Moffat, and Aaron Truscott; siblings, Jadyn, Roslyn, and Evlyn; stepbrothers, Brandon and Joshua; aunts and uncles, Brooklyn Moffat; Josh and Matt Plummer; Shelley, Shaunah, and Travis Eppley; Renee Johns; and Matt and Mark Truscott; and numerous other cherished relatives and friends.

Brandyn had a heart that overflowed with love, particularly for his siblings. His bond with them was truly special, a testament to the warmth of his spirit. He had a profound love for animals, cherishing the companionship of his pets and, in particular, his beloved dog, Sparky.

His old soul carried wisdom beyond his age. In a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, Brandyn's kindness and goodness stood out. The depth of his goodness often left us in awe... He was too good for this world.

We find ourselves grappling with the harsh reality that the struggles he faced were too overwhelming. It is a collective responsibility to foster an environment where seeking help is encouraged, and where compassion and understanding are readily available to those in need. May we strive to honor his memory by extending empathy, kindness, and support to one another.

Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
