BOPP – Robert T. “Bob,” 82, New Germany, died July 25, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 19, 1941, in New Germany, son of George “Jack” and Rose M. (Wirfel) Bopp.
Preceded in death by parents; granddaughter, Jordann Rose Orosz; sisters, Caroline Dombrosky and Regina Schall; and brothers, Paul, Anthony, and William Bopp.
Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Frances “Fran” (Milko) Bopp, whom he married August 8, 1964; daughters, Rose Ann (John) Hoover; Sharen (Michael) Kuhn; Ginny (David) Orosz; and Diane (Brett) Dixon; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Clare Kundrod.
Bob was a graduate of South Fork High School, class of 1959. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany; a US Army veteran, and retired from Bethlehem Steel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant.
Committal, St. Marys Cemetery, New Germany.

Military graveside service by St. Michael American Legion Post 551.
