Barbara E. McIntyre

McIntyre – Barbara E., 76, South Fork, died January 6, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 3, 1946, in Johnstown, daughter of Robert L. and Flora Mae (Wolfe) Sowerbrower. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Robert and Alan.

Survived by husband, John A. McIntyre; children, Adam McIntyre, South Fork; Heather McFarland, South Fork; and Barbara, married to Dave Everhart, Richland; seven grandchildren; and brother, Richard, Pittsburgh. 1964 graduate of Richland High School and a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. Barb retired from Conemaugh after 45 years in the Lab. She was known for creating beautifully hand-crafted purses, had a hard time putting down a good book, and especially cherished time with her grandchildren.

Honoring her wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
