CHRIST - Anthony "Tony,” 68, St. Michael, passed away May 17, 2026. Born December 10, 1957. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin "Tom" and Josephine (Shuman) Christ; brother David, nephew David Jr., and brothers-in-law David Hendrickson, Mark Litzinger, and Richard Litzinger.
Survived by loving wife of 49 years, RoseMarie (Litzinger) Christ; son Anthony "Tony," married to Melissa (Schrader); daughters, Jamie Hoffman and her partner Brian Costa; and Nicole, married to Troy Burkett; cherished grandchildren, Cassandra Christ, Abigail Christ (married to Carson Bensley), Anthony "Tony" Christ, Nathan Croyle, and Natalie Croyle and her partner Talmadge Gunnett; sister, Kathleen Hendrickson; in-laws, Alice Christ, Jerry Litzinger, Joseph Litzinger, and Charles Rager; and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was passionate about cooking, hunting, fishing, camping, and volunteering in the local community. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many. He was a proud member of the St. Michael American Legion, the St. Michael Volunteer Fire Department, and the St. Michael Sportsmen's Club. He cherished time spent with family and friends, always bringing joy to their gatherings. Tony worked at Adams Township as an Equipment Operator for 40 years, serving as a supervisor for the last four years, which showed his dedication to the community he lived in.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, Father Jerzy Auguscik, OFM Conf., presiding.
A dinner will follow after the funeral service at the St. Michael Volunteer Fire Department. All Friends and family are welcome. Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
