RUSSELL – Shirley Ruth, 89, South Fork, died March 12, 2019, at home. Born April 1, 1929, in South Fork, daughter of Matthew and Mary (Wilson) Jackson.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Thomas H. Russell, who died May 28, 2011; son, Craig Russell; and brothers, Matthew “Stoney” and Glenn Jackson. Survived by children, Kathy, wife of Roger Beam, Somerset; Todd, married to Karla (Dangle), Duncansville; and Kerry Blough, Dunlo; grandchildren, Collin Russell and Hope Ann (Beam), wife of Mazin Albert; and numerous other beloved family and friends.

Shirley was a graduate of South Fork High School, class of 1946. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. We are greatly saddened by the loss of her warmth, her laughter, and her love; but her spirit remains in all who knew and cared for her.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Pastor Denise Gramling presiding.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
