Ronda D. Gramling

GRAMLING – Ronda D. (Burkett), 83, South Fork, went home with the angels October 31, 2016 to be reunited with her beloved husband, John R. “Bud,” who passed away, October 27, 1986. She is now with all of her special angels in Heaven.

Born December 3, 1932, in South Fork, daughter of Joseph and Hilda (Penrod) Burkett. Preceded in death by parents; husband; little sister, Sandra; brother, Fred T.; sister-in-law, Dolly Burkett; grandchild, Sammy; and great-grandchildren, Destiny, Lil D., and Derrick Faith.

Survived by sons, John Rick, married to Wanda (Graham), South Fork; Barri K., married to Susan (Miller), Wilmore; daughters, Shelli, wife of Joseph Stiffler, Richland; where she spent her last days being lovingly taken care of; and Melodi, wife of David Brennan, Salix; grandchildren, Staci (Shawn) Faith, Chris (Mark) Ringler, Mandi (Ken) Smith, Michelle (Matt) Chverchko, Erin (Jim) Brown, Alyssa Gramling, Randy (Alisha) Blough Jr., Brett (Amanda) Blough; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Donovan, Doran and Danika Faith. Tiffany and Madison Ringler; Thomas and Trevor Smith; Katie and Cameryn Chverchko; Bailey, Mason and Landon Brown; Mykala Drobnick and Calvin Blough; Hunter and Colton Blough; great-great-grandchildren, Rilynn Bopp. Sister of Billy Burkett, Warfordsburg, PA; Jean (Bill) Gockley, Reinholds, PA; Linda (Ray) Quashnie, Mineral Point; and Janice (Victor) Gressick, Cresson.

Member of South Fork First United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the sunshine in her life. She enjoyed spending time with all of them and loved them with all of her heart. She is now rocking her grandchildren in Heaven and sharing wonderful stories of the past. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Rest in peace mom.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, the Rev. Terry Trudgen officiating.

Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
