THIR – Paul J., 71, Mineral Point, died November 9, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 30, 1945, in Mineral Point, son of Nicholas and Olean (Weakland) Thir.
Preceded in death by parents; and brother James. Survived by brothers, Dennis and his wife Sharon, McKeesport; and Donald and his wife Linda, Mineral Point; special nephew, Jim and his wife Kim Thir and their son Ben, Seward; and numerous nieces and nephews. US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired Bethlehem steel worker.
Honoring his wishes there will be no public viewing or services.
Private committal of urn, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
