Mary A. Ladika

March 28, 1923 - February 6, 2022

LADIKA – Mary A., 98, Ebensburg, formerly of South Fork; died at home with Bob & Cindy at her side. Born March 28, 1923, in South Fork; daughter of the Mirko and Mary (Trozok) Grgurich. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 61 years, Frank M. “Fuzzy” Ladika, who died July 26, 2003; grandson, Michael Cecchini, and sister, Margaret Prince. Survived by daughters, Kathleen Ladika, and special friend, Deb Erickson, Stanardsville, Virginia; and Barbara, wife of Michael Cecchini, Bethesda, Maryland; son, F. Robert, married to Cindy (Friedline), Ebensburg; grandchildren, Kate, wife of Jamie Kosh, Northern Cambria; Robert Ladika, married to Krissy (Burger), Severna Park, Maryland; and Adam Cecchini, San Leandro, California; and great grandchildren, Alex Kosh and Lucas, Parker, and Grayson Ladika. Also step-granddaughter, Jodi, wife of Craig Gursky, Stoystown; special niece, Mary Prince; and several nieces and nephews. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork. Where she was active in the Mary and Joseph Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary before moving to Ebensburg. She enjoyed pinochle club with her friends in South Fork and enjoyed some travel in Europe. She was an avid reader, crossword solver, and enjoyed watching Jeopardy regularly. She had a incredible memory and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. Honoring her request visitation will be private. Mask requested for Mass. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant. Committal, St. James Cemetery, South Fork. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
