Mary Ann Daniels

DANIELS – Mary Ann, 84, St. Michael, died January 11, 2021, at home. Born October 1, 1936, in St. Michael, daughter of Frank and Julia “Bubbie” (Urda) Navatsyk.

Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Rae M. Spaid-Kick.

Survived by devoted husband of 64 years, Joseph “J.D,” whom she married November 9, 1956; daughters, Deborah, wife of Michael Pinkas, Elton; and Kathleen, wife of Joseph Quealy, Derry; grandsons, Travis Shaffer; and Zachary and Andrew Pinkas; sisters, Margaret, widow of William Janshego, Indianapolis, Indiana; Jean Boussy, Johnstown; and Joan, wife of Robert Patrick, Mineral Point; brother, Richard Newton, Johnstown; aunt, Elizabeth Sliko, and brother-in-law, Robert Daniels.

Mary Ann was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a graduate of Adams Township High School, class of 1954. She was a former employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg; Swank Hardware Co.; and retired from Sears.

Honoring her wishes visitation will be private.

A public Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Monsignor David Lockard, Celebrant.

Committal, St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
