Margaret L. "Peg" Cruse
August 22, 1923 — May 10, 2020
CRUSE – Margaret L., “Peg,” 96, South Fork; passed away peacefully, Mother’s Day May 10, 2020, at home surrounded by loving family. Born August 22, 1923, the last surviving child of Charles and Nellie H. (Russell) Mitchell.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clifford “Kip” Cruse, who died December 4, 1986; son, William R. “Bill” Cruse; great-granddaughter, Kyla Ruffing; sister, Jean J. (Mitchell) Caldwell-Darby; and brother, John Mitchell.
Survived by sons, Robert, married to Judy (Murphy), New Florence; Randy, South Fork; daughter, Cynthia, wife of Jerry Thomas, Cherry Tree; daughter-in-law, Reva (Hanyok) Crusan, Cherry Tree; grandchildren, Kim (Robert) Semelsberger, Mike (Shelley) Ruffing, Julie (Brad) Lichtenfels, Kristen (Doug) Coursin, and Jeff (Jamie) Ruffing; great-grandchildren, Bob, Brooke, Caroline, and Luke; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
Peg was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She loved her family dearly and though we are saddened she is gone, we know she has rejoined those loved ones who went before her and whom she has longed to see again.
Due to public health concerns visitation and services are private for the immediate family.
Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
