SPODNIK – Leo W., 87, Ebensburg, formerly of South Fork, died December 8, 2020 at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg.
Born May 1, 1933, in Benscreek, son of Michael and Anna (Jefko) Spodnik.
Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Helen Gervinski and Margaret Jereb; and brothers, Michael and James.
Survived by wife, Margaret (Sikora) Spodnik, Ebensburg, brother, John, Westfield Center, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork. Leo retired from Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg; after many years of service.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple Street, South Fork.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 350 Main Street, South Fork; Father Joseph C. Nale Celebrant.
Committal, St. James Cemetery.
Military graveside service by St. Michael American Legion Post 551.
