Lee Berkebile

November 16, 1960 - November 13, 2021

BERKEBILE – Ellis L. “Lee,” Jr., 60, Summerhill; died November 13, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born November 16, 1960, in Johnstown, son Ellis L. and Beverly (Weaver) Berkebile. Survived by parents; loving wife of 32 years, Dorothy (LaRose) Berkebile, whom he married September 30, 1989; daughters, Kaylee, engaged to Merlin Elderkin, South Fork; and Chelsie, engaged to Tristan Miller, Summerhill; grandchildren, Dylin, Arabelle, Athena, Xavier, and Sophia; brother, Dennis, married to Trudy (Lane), Cairnbrook; sister, Kathy Berkebile, wife of Gregg Snyder, Windber; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Lee was a graduate of Richland High School, class of 1978. For the past 20 years he worked for Sheetz, where he was a Transportation Department Manager. He enjoyed the freedom of riding his Harley on the open road. Sitting by a warm fire on a cool night, camping in the beauty of the outdoors, and fishing, and riding quads were some his favorites ways to share time with family and friends. But surely, more than anything Lee cherished playing and dancing with his grandchildren and loved being “Pap.” Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Tribute Video https://www.tributeslides.com/tributes/show/H6MFF53DF78KHWZC
